All entries must be hand-carried to the Veteran’s building at the Southern New Mexico State Fairgrounds.
 
ENTRIES RELEASED
Sunday, October 2, 2016 4:00pm – 6:00pm
Those who wish to pick up their entries early will forfeit their ribbons and cash prizes.
Works not picked up at this time shall become the property of the Southern New Mexico State Fair & Rodeo.
ENTRY TAGS ARE REQUIRED FOR RELEASE OF EXHIBITS.

2. Senior (age 14-18) Best of Lot

3. Junior (age 9-13) Best of Lot

1st through 3rd place and honorable mention ribbons will be given ribbons in each age group.
 
   
CRAZY HAT GENERAL RULES

1. 1. Exhibitors must live in Doña Ana, Bernalillo, Catron, Grant, Hidalgo, Luna, Otero, Sierra, Socorro, Valencia
and El Paso Counties.
2. All entries must be the work of the exhibitor and must have been made after the close of last year’s fair.
A purchased hat may be used as the base, but must be decorated by the exhibitor. The hat must be capable of being worn by the exhibitor.
3. Any item that is entered and deemed by the Superintendent to be in bad taste, will not be accepted.
4. All entries will be judged according to age group. The age of the exhibitor must be on the entry form.
5. Every precaution will be taken to protect exhibits, but the fair will not be responsible for loss or damage.
The owner’s themselves must take the risk of exhibiting them.
7. The Superintendent may at his or her discretion replace any cash prize with a gift certificate of equal
or greater value.
