YQCA Certification
Any exhibitor entering a Junior Market Show at the Southern New Mexico State Fair is required to take the YQCA test and receive their YQCA Certificate of Completion.
The YQCA otherwise known as the YOUTH FOR QUALITY CARE OF ANIMALS is a multi species assurance program.
Visit: https://yqcaprogram.org/ to obtain your certification if you have not already done so.
This will replace Market Certification Forms.
Sheep must be shorn to ¼” upon arrival
Market Heifers can be shown in the Jr. Market Beef show.
Hogs will check in and show from the wash racks only.

12:00 pm – Early release for Livestock entered in other shows (county, national or state shows)

Sunday, September 29th
Packer/Processor Trucks will be loaded as soon as possible.
12:00 pm –Release – Catron, Grant, Hidalgo, Bernalillo, Valencia & Socorro Counties
1:00 pm – Release – El Paso, Sierra, Otero, Luna and Dona Ana Counties
5:00 pm – All animals off property
